DELICIOUS DIGITAL
This site needed to convey the essence of the Delicious Digital work environment, whilst also being functional on all the new touchscreen devices such as iPad and iPhone.
Hence we used html5 to deliver the video and mp3 streams, with a Flash fallback for older browsers that do not support this. Site navigation is handled by javascript, meaning that content is updated without interupting the background music or animations. The result is a site with some nice animated additions that degrade gracefully when Flash is not present (iPad, iPhone), and all the important content - the text, video, and audio, is accessible on all devices.
It is also important to point out that in the absence of javascript, the site is fully navigable - so search engines can index all the content as per a standard website.
